Question 1: Can you confirm that your business DOES NOT operate in the following sectors?

Businesses operating in the following sectors are NOT ELIGIBLE to receive support from the South East Business Boost Programme.

  • Fisheries & aquaculture
  • Primary Production, processing and marketing of agricultural products
  • Coal, Steel & Shipbuilding
  • Banking and Insurance
  • Synthetic fibres
  • State funded education and health
  • Decommissioning or construction of nuclear power stations

Question 2: Can you confirm that your business meets all of the following?

  • Has an annual turnover of less than €50m (approx. £42m)
  • Has a balance sheet value of less than €43m (approx.. £36m)
  • Employs fewer than 250 people

Question 3: Have you received less than €200,000 of public-funded support in the last 3 years?

Support from the South East Business Boost Programme will be provided under the De Minimis Regulation (1407/2013) which allows businesses to receive up to €200,000 of State Aid assistance over a 3-year period. The State Aid rules cover ANY public funding that you have received during the current and previous 2 financial years.

We will require you to declare previous funding before receiving additional support to ensure that the value of the assistance you receive via the South East Business Boost Programme does not bring you over the €200,000 threshold.
